Marcos reveals that he used to date Laura and asks Beatriz out on a date. Fernando insists he is very proud that Inácio is his son. Marcos warns that Laura doesn't know anything about it, but that Hercília overheard a conversation between Beatriz and a friend about Inácio not being Fernando's son.

Beatriz assures Marcos that she will pay him. Fernando decides to restrict Renato's powers. Maria Clara makes a deal with Raimundo. Ana Paula asks Corina for financial help.

Paulo César encourages Sandra to accept the invitation for the photoshoot. Beatriz surprises everyone by introducing Marcos as her advisor. Marcos finally breaks up with Laura. Darlene's scavenger hunt begins.

Maria Clara seeks out Beatriz in the hope of helping Fernando avoid being convicted for Lineu's death. Beatriz responds by saying that Fernando can be her husband again. PC is jealous of Tânia.

Laura says she can do whatever she wants with Beatriz and tells Hugo how she used her in her plans. Hidden, Beatriz cries, then surprises Laura, who tries to fix the damage.
