Carminha talks to her mother about the family's financial problems. Marisa throws in Yolanda's face that she is not her daughter.

Júlia asks Yolanda to take her to Copacabana beach. Alberico tells Jofre that he is in debt, and Jofre finds out Franklin's address for Alberico.

Yolanda advises Júlia to take better care of her appearance. Aníbal is irritated by the way his father-in-law, Alberico, lives his life: focused on appearances. Júlia calls Jofre.

Celina is desperate when she can't get any information about her son, Cacá, who traveled to India. Jofre promises to find a job for Júlia.

Julia sees her daughter's picture in the newspaper. Alberico tells Jofre about his plans to start a new business. Marlene tells everyone that Alberico gave Frank a bad check.

Carminha is distraught upon learning of her father's debt. Yolanda tells Horácio that she won't let Júlia ruin Marisa's life. Júlia is released from prison on parole.

Júlia asks Jofre never to tell anyone that she has a daughter. Jofre tries to find Júlia a job at Solange and Emília's store.

Jofre and Carminha have dinner with Júlia. Yolanda and Horácio discover that Marisa has had an accident and go to the hospital. Júlia agrees to rent Carminha's room.

Cacá says she won't let Júlia get away. After the party, Alzira complains about life to Jofre and Carminha. Yolanda complains on the phone to Bibi about her marriage.

Júlia arrives drunk at Yolanda's house and reveals herself to be Marisa's mother. At the disco, Hélio complains to Jofre because he feels lonely.

Yolanda visits Hélio at the store. Júlia talks to Madalena about her marriage to Ubirajara. Cacá talks to the analyst about her mother's death.

To convince Júlia not to marry Ubirajara, Vera says that Yolanda is separating from Horácio. Alberico receives a letter from his partner.
